I load screencaps into Photoshop CS5 (misfitsexual has a good tutorial)
I'll never get why they used Olly Murs over the actual song they nicked the sitcom title from. Why bother doing that if you aren't going to reference it? Oh well they make lots of decisions I don't get (and a couple I do, like hiring Rob for one ;) ).

They’re probably saving that song for a particular moment in the show. Or they thought they’d just use the name for a pun and not use the song in case that was too predictable

for me i don't care about him being the biggest star on the planet. i wish him success and i don't care if he only sticks to irish indies and does not go off to do american hollywood blockbusters. i would be fine with it.

speaking to the anon...we know he has american fans, but it is ridiculous to suggest he is a big time celebrity. he is not. that is fact. he may get there someday, but he's not like brad pitt or beyonce where pretty much everyone knows who they are

I’m not even sure why people are still debating this or seem upset by this? Maybe he’s not some A Lister who everyone gossips about but I’m pretty sure no one is saying that anyway. I think everyone should agree to disagree and just be happy that THEY know about him
exactly. he's just not a big star yet period. america and non american countries as well even ireland. and misfits is not widely known. sure it has a huge cult following, but it's not like lost or once upon a time.

sure he has a fair amount of american fans, but he is far from being well known in america. ask someone down the street who robert is and there is a high probability they do not know.

It’s the same here though. Although a lot of people know who he is, they’re in a certain age bracket and have to have the internet/the right channel to have seen his stuff

While I think this debate over whether Rob is known in the US is slightly pointless, I just can't help throwing in my two cents. I personally don't think he is well known here. Season wasn't a particularly popular movie, and unless someone has a direct interest in British television/film, chances are slim that they've seen Misfits even though it's on Logo (sadly not many people watch Logo because 1.) it's cable and 2.) it's the LBGTQ channel here in The States).
